Masscom Global cut proposal turnaround in half by bringing ten years of media intelligence into Claude.
Masscom 2

Masscom Global helps brands connect with influential audiences across international markets — airport advertising, out-of-home, television, radio, print, digital, regional market intelligence and event-led opportunities.

Founded in 2016 and grown from an airport media desk into a global business, Masscom positions itself around "wealth in motion intelligence": understanding where high-value audiences move and connecting brands with them at the moments that matter. Through Global Media Kit it also gives advertisers a platform to discover, plan and execute campaigns across markets.

The business function at the centre of this engagement is media planning — the work of turning an incoming client brief into a costed, market-aware, client-ready proposal. Masscom's most valuable asset there is not its inventory. It is context.

The challenge

Valuable intelligence existed everywhere. Using it at the right moment was the hard part.

Masscom had already built a substantial digital knowledge estate. Media inventory, location information, rate cards, presentations, images, regional expertise and campaign knowledge existed across websites, databases, Excel sheets, PowerPoint decks and document repositories. The problem was not a lack of information. It was connecting the right information at the right moment.

A single customer inquiry could open a long manual sequence — and the most valuable layers were the ones most easily lost to time pressure. In media, time changes value: Singapore during Formula 1, London during Fashion Week, Cannes during the Film Festival, Dubai during a major business event. The inventory stays the same; its contextual value does not.

01

Knowledge distributed across people and systems

Experienced planners knew how to do this exceptionally well, but the intelligence lived in individuals, documents and separate platforms.

02

Context missed for lack of time

Upcoming events, seasonality and regional guidelines could be overlooked simply because assembling a proposal already took too long.

03

Another interface would have added friction, not removed it

The obvious answers — a web app, a mobile app, a dedicated AI portal — all asked the team to leave the way it already worked. That does not scale.

What Neelitech delivered

Keep the conversation. Connect the intelligence.

Neelitech ran a system study and a round of user interactions before proposing an architecture. One observation redirected the whole project: Masscom's team was already comfortable working with conversational AI — using it to analyse information, explore ideas, understand client requirements, research markets and prepare content.

That changed the architecture completely.

So instead of a new front end, Neelitech built and deployed a dedicated Model Context Protocol (MCP) intelligence layer: a cloud-hosted bridge that makes Masscom's proprietary information retrievable from inside the conversational environment the team already used. Claude provides the reasoning environment. Masscom provides the proprietary intelligence. MCP connects the two, and the planner stays in control.

The architecture is designed so Claude requests only the information a particular task requires, rather than asking the organisation to upload its entire knowledge repository into every conversation
How it worked

From search to conversation, in five steps.

Governance and adoption

The expert stays in control of the commercial decision.

The transformation was never intended to remove the media planner. Claude helps search, retrieve, compare and organise, and can prepare a first draft of a proposal. The final commercial judgment remains with the specialist — because that judgment comes from market knowledge, experience and an understanding of how media works in context.
